What Causes Constipation Despite Increased Water Intake?

I am always regular every day and the past 3 weeks I have been constipated and been taking Ducolax to help. I have cut back a lot of carbs the fist of the year and always exercise daily, drink water and consider myself in great shape for my age. I am 56 and weigh 140 and wondering what could be the cause

Constipation can be due to:
-Stress
-Changes to what you eat or your activities
-Some medications
-Not being active
I suggest you to:
-Try warm liquids, especially in the morning.
-Add fruits and vegetables to your diet.
-Exercise most days of the week.
-Continue with the laxatives
