I have been experiencing some constipation for the last couple days and this morning I woke up to pain in my lower pelvic region on my right side. When I touched the area it was extremely tender and I can feel a lump. Yesterday I resorted to taking a laxative to relieve my constipation but I ve had only scant bowel movements with excessive gas. I am somewhat bloated and reluctant to palpate the area anymore because it is too painful. I m debating on whether a trip to the emergency room is warranted of if I should give it until tomorrow and see if its improved any and if not make a trip to the urgent care since it is Sunday evening and the ER is my only resort at the moment.
