What Causes Constipation And Excessive Belching?

I have been feeling very full of gas lately . It s mostly belcheching from way down deep and I am not pooping regularly the past couple of days . The other night I had stomach pain so bad . My stomach was hard and there was a lot of pain . Never ever have I belched like this before . It comes from way down in the pit of my stomach and taste terrible . I m also having decreased appetite. I feel like I could throw up at times . I am a 45 year old Triple Negative Breast Cancer Survivor. I just had all my blood work done and it was all good . Not sure why I feel this way ?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be gallstones or bacterial overgrowth. I suggest you see your doctor for blood tests and possibly a breath test for bacterial overgrowth. For symptomatic relief, try aspirin and simethicone.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Anders Mark Christensen, General Surgeon
