What Causes Constipation And Blood In Urine?

Hi I am 28 years male. I am facing constipation issue since last 6 days. On 2nd day of constipation, I noticed blood in urine and pain there. There is no stone as ultrasound has been done. Waiting for urine culture test as it seems I have infection. But could you advise on constipation. Is it advisable to take cremalex?

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood your concerns.
Constipation and urinary tract infection may be co-incidental hence both be treated separately.
Yes, you can certainly take Cremalex so that the constipation is relieved. Dosages need to be adjusted as per your needs.
Also take high fiber diet.
Take plenty of oral fluids and take fruits in full.
Avoid any foods and beverages that you know cause constipation in your case.
About the blood in urine; this is good that you have normal ultrasound showing no urinary stones.
It may be due to congestion of prostate as you are young.
The report of Urine culture will guide further.
If there is any other symptom like burning, frequency or so, you can be started on an antibiotic active against urinary tract infection and continued or altered as per the report.
An opinion of an Urologist helps a lot.
