What Causes Constant Ringing Sound In The Ears With Congestion?

I wake up with ringing in one ear, for 5 weeks now, went to walk in clinic also back up doctor(my doctor wasn t their) first time I had a small infection, and congested ear, med s and salt spray, and cord spray, 3 weeks later, doctor said th4e swelling will go down within 6 weeks etc he changed my salt spray because the othr was burning my nose, so its been almost weeks and I am on vit c, cannot take anti-histamine (heart erm.) and I am congested as well started with sinuses,

Hi,

Your explanation is clearly pointing towards infection in the ear as well as sinuses leading to Tinnitus. Swelling of eardrum can also cause the following symptoms secondary to infection. It is advisable to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough examination should be done to rule out the exact cause of the symptoms.

You might need a course of antibiotic, decongestant nasal drops, and antibiotic ear drops can be advised. An expert advice is a must.
