What Causes Constant Pressure Behind The Neck And Ear?

I have a squeezing sensation in my neck. I occasionally have ear pain, constant pressure behind my ear running down my neck. When I lay down I feel like someone is squeezing my throat. I often feel like the back on my tongue and throat cannot relax. I do not have an ear infection and two courses of antibiotics have not improved the problem

Hello,

In such a case, since you used antibiotics, imaging evaluation of your neck is necessary. A cervical spine MRI could give the necessary information for possible cervical spondylosis and for any soft tissues of the neck problems. Discuss with your Doctor for these issues.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
