What Causes Constant Pain In The Shoulders While Having Arthritis?
I have pain in both shoulders. My left is worse than my right. Today, while doing errands I went to close the truck door and had a tinglelike pain go up my left arm. Now I have constant pain in my left shoulder and up and down my left arm. I was told I have arthritis, with the weather finally turning colder is this why my arthritis is acting up?
Thanks for writing to Health Care magic, I am Dr , Muhammad Ahmad , I have read your question closely, I understand your concern and will be helping you with your health related problem.
You might be having arthritis or inflammation of the shoulders , i believe you should get a proper checkup and start with the treatment fro the timebeing best medicine for your is diclofenac 50mg twice a day it is available OTC, you can use brufen 400 mg twice a day if you get that more easily, with warm compress the shoulders.
Yes cold can have its effects because it causes bit of spams in the msucles around the shoulders which worsens the pain . This will get better with proper medication and physiotherapy.
I hope this answered your question, If you have more queries I am happy to answer you. Regards.
Dr.Muhammad Ahmad
