Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 25 year old male and I do not take any medication or have any health problems. I get hot flashes throughout the day and sometimes up to 10-15 times a day. I find it hard to sleep because of this (I sleep like a baby if I don t get them) and it s starting to make working during the day increasingly difficult when you re sweating and unable to think clearly in a 25 degree Celsius room.
Well your case is not all that simple as there are nunerous factors that need to be discussed one on one. But for now I would like to put forward a few conditions that can cause such a presentation like lupus, anxiety or panic attacks, pheochromocytoma, etc. A more elaborate evaluation is warranted and if you feel anxiety could be quite likely then please speak to a psychologist for the same.
Best wishes.
