Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My mother has been in a nursing home since December. She has had headaches for years but we have not been able to figure out the cause. We ve had many tests including MRIs and just can t figure it out. I know she worries about her children ...there s 7 of us ages 50 to 73 now. I live 1 mile away and see her during the day and go back to put her to bed each night. She has been taking Tylenol ( 2 500 s) 2 times a day as needed. The doctor recommended Tramadol instead of the Tylenol but I m noticing that she getting depressed and crying at night. Do you have any recommendations for something that might not cause depression?

What Causes Constant Headaches?
Hi, The basic reason for a headache is a tension headache via stress. She requires counselling with an expert psychologist to get rid of this issue. Primary best relief would be obtained from deep breathing exercises, YOGA and lifestyle modifications. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
