Hi I am 38 yrs old . I have consistent cost pain with pain going to arm and leg also .i had done tread mill test and full health package test . Nothing related to chest was highlighted but I was given it b and d supplements as it b was had of read level and it d was at 75 % of the read level . I took the medicine. Also I was given the antacid pantoz Dsr . But the heart problem is not going away . What should I do . Am confused whether it is angina or acidity reflux . Is there any specific test which can conclude it as acidity not angina . Have shown to cardiac and medicine specialist both . But as tmt report was negative everyone advised me for acidity . But in none of the test acidity was proved . Pls guide .
Hello, greetings! The problem you are facing may not be a cardiac problem as the treadmill test is negative. To investigate further, you can consult your doctor about a 2-D echogram which will give a better picture about cardiac problems.
The problem points in direction of an acid reflux problem. I would prescribe my patients tablet rabeprazole with a combination of domperidone. I suggest you eat non spicy food and avoid staying hungry for long periods of time. It may also be a peptic (stomach)/duodenal ulcer in case of which you should consult a gynaecologist.
