What Causes Cold With Itchy Spots On The Chest And Upper Arms?

hello, i have had a cold for about a week now with the usual stuffy, sometimes runny nose, a little chest congestion, a little coughing with mucus. Not a big deal. i did notice oday i was itching alot, and when i looked at myself, I ambroke out all over in what looks like Mosuito bites. it is worse on my chest and upper arms. what could possibly be causing this????

It is possible that you have viral exanthem. This is a rash that can occur along with a viral infection such as the one that you have.

The rash would normally resolve along with or soon after the other symptoms resolve.

You can use an oral antihistamine to help control the itching.
