What Causes Cold Sweats In Sleep?

i have been waking up in the middle of the night with the cold sweats.. as in hot ,but cold, im not a drinker, 38 yrs old, and during the day , i dress warm for the weather , get warm, roll up long sleeve, and instantly get goosebumps and chilled again.. its pr4tty nice out today and should be wearing a tshirt... i am wearing sweat pant, long sleeved sweater and a blanket on bcuz i keep getting chilled! do you think it could be early menapause? or just some sort of flu bug?

Hello,

There are several reasons for sweating and hot flashes. I think you are too early for menopause and it can be caused either by hyperthyroidism, infection, Hodgkin lymphoma etc. You need to do a total blood count and thyroid hormone levels.
