What Causes Cold Sensation And Blue Discoloration On The Right Foot?

I have MS,why is my right foot always cold and a reddish blue color. if I massage it and keep it elevated the foot turns to a normal color like the rest of my leg and it warms up, but in just a few minutes of putting my foot down it turns back to blue. It seems to get stiff and weaker, I have talked to Doctors about this for years all they say is I just half to live with it! Can you help me?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
The probable cause might be poor blood supply to the affected limb. Get a Doppler scan o the limb. And do ANA profile to rule out vasculitis.
Quit smoking if you have that habit.
Consult a vascular surgeon for further evaluation and treatment.
Thanks
