What Causes Cloudy Urine, Coughing And Rash Behind Knee?
i have a friend who in last 4-6 weeks has been waking up with night sweats with a cough, also had a fungal type rash appear behind her knee and has popped up on other areas of her body and cloudy urine. She doesnt smoke, rarely drinks and diet is pretty healthy. is it candida? or urinary tract infection? or another bacterial infection?
Persistent coughing can be due to different possible causes such as: (1) post nasal drip- this is the most common cause In some cases the drip is silent and only the cough is present. It would not be responsible for the other symptoms however
The other causes of persistent coughing are (2) gerd (reflux) and (3)asthma
The fungal rash may be treated with antifungal creams. Examples are ketoconazole and econazole. These may be available over the counter.
She would need to consider testing of the urine to determine if an infection is present. This would initially involve a urine analysis is the doctor's office. Urine may also need to be sent off to the lab.
