What Causes Clear Vaginal Discharge And Bacterial Infections Post Tubes Being Tied?

My name is Christine. I had my tubes tied august 2014 after my third baby. Ever since I have crazy amounts of clear discharge with a funky odor. I have to change my underwear constantly, it s enough that my legs chafe if I don t change! I have also had frequent bacterial infections resulting g from all of this. The doctor told me it s an uncommon side effect and they might do surgery to take out the tubes! Is this right?

Hi,

Yes, you may need to have a repeat surgery to remove source of infection, though before that non invasive options like discharge culture and sensitivity as well as microscopy to isolate nature of discharge and causative organism isolation and antibiotics it would likely to be responsive to, may be identified.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
