What Causes Clear Snot With Bright Fluorescent Orange Tint?
my 2 year old son has been sick for weeks. he took a prescription of amoxicillin over 2 weeks ago and it did not work, he is now taking cefprozil. He does seem to be feeling better but now has clear snot coming out his nose with a bright flouresent orange tint to it, it is NOT blood????

Your child might be going through a viral /bacterial febrile illness.As antibiotics are already started and kid seems to be better no active intervention needed presently.The nasal discharge with blood tint could be due to finger trauma.Start him on benadryl cold after consulting with pediatric doctor
