I was told I have tonsilitis 3 days ago. I started cefprozil two days ago, and the only symptoms I had until yesterday was pain swallowing and pain when talking. It is also only on the right side of my throat. Yesterday, I started getting a mild fever of 100.2. I am supposed to go on vacation tommorow. How long does it take to get better with antibiotics? I can t eat or barely drink because my throat is so swollen.
