What Causes Clear Discharge From Tailbone And Itching In The Testicles?

I m weeping just by my coccyx. It is so frustrating and annoying. Have had this for over two weeks now. Been to my Doctor and he s had a look. He says its a fungal infection as he could see redness, white and scaly skin. My testicles were also a bit itchy for a few days before the weeping started. He prescribed me Canesten cream to apply to my coccyx and rear end twice a day for a fortnight. Two days later, and it s itchy and still weeping. I just don t know what else to do. My GP did say to come back to him after the two weeks, if the weeping hasn t lessened somewhat, if not gone completely.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to a fungal infection, so I agree with your doctor.

I suggest continuing using Canesten for fungal infection.

I also suggest using Fluconazole.

I recommend to maintain good hygiene and keep cotton underwear.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
