What Causes Chronic Pain In Knees And Hips?

I am experiencing pain in my knees and hips. I am wondering what could be the possible problem. Almost a month ago I went off of Cymbalta and am wondering if this could be a side effect. I am currently taking Losartin with potassium, Crestor and a baby aspirin each day.

Hi,

Definitely, withdrawal from Cymbalta gives minimal withdrawal symptoms as compared to other anti depressive. Still after withdrawal, particularly after abrupt stoppage of Cymbalta, the body may take many weeks to adjust for low levels of serotonin and epinephrine. Therefore, this leads to withdrawal symptoms.

Besides common symptoms of dizziness, nausea, sleep disturbance, pins and needles sensation of the body etc., many other neurological and physical symptoms including chronic pain in the joints may also be there. One thing to look for is that reappearance of some of symptoms of the primary disease for which Cymbalta was prescribed, including symptoms of chronic pain.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
