What Causes Chronic Migraines While On Welchol?

I have been taking Welchol 625mg. 2tabs. twice daily for about 2weeks & feel terribly tired & no energy, worse than usual for my 64 yr. old self! I also suffer from chronic migraines, which have been in overdrive here lately too. Just read where it could be a side effect from the Welchol-how likely is that?

Hello,

This lipid or glucose lowering agent can be a cause for your recurrent migraine headache. If you feel the Migraine is continuous and is associated with it you need to visit your doctor to get it replaced. As you know there is almost a trigger agent in migraine attack, you need to single it out and avoid totally in future though it can be a medicine as you think in your case is.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
