What Causes Chronic Left Sided Discomfort In Lower Abdomen With History Of Diverticulosis?
What could be causing an uncomfortable feeling in my left lower abdomen. Would it be in my colon? This has been going on for a couple of months. I do have Diverticulosis of the ascending colon which was diagnosed when I had a colonoscopy done in 2011. The doctor told me to never have another colonoscopy done because of too high of a risk for perforation. I have never experienced this feeling until just recently.

I really appreciate your concern, if this is just uncomfortable then this could be nonspecific and not because of the diverticulitis and tis is nothing to worry some time this could be due to dyspepsia just wait for some time and every thing would be fine and if not then clinical examination is must, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
