Pathologist and Microbiologist, Dr. Stany BC's Response
Hi there... my opinion is that there is possible hookworm infection. First thing, keep your feet clean and avoiding walking in the garden barefoot. You can take tab. thiabedazole 500 mg twice a day for two days or tab.albendazole 400mg one a day for two days. Some of my patients have got better relief after Tab.Ivermectin once only one day. This can kill those worms if there are any. For the itching, calamine lotion may be applied over the affected parts. Take care and let me know when you feel better.
