What Causes Chronic Irregular Menstruation?

I haven t had a period in 9months now. I went to my obgyn about 2 months ago and was told I was insulin resistant. She put me on metformin and I take 1000mg a day as directed. Now two months later still no period. About a week ago it was pink when I wiped but nothing in my panties, I ve also been experiencing headaches, nausea, and my breasts are tender.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, your case of insulin resistance or diabetes nothing to do with menses, if this is amenorrhea then underlying cause of this need to be rule out keeping in mind the most possible and common cause of this, other symptoms also seems nonspecific, hope this information helps, take care.
