What Causes Chronic Headache Along With Pain And Pressure In Chest?

My husband had a heart attach July 7, 2016. Turned 51 on July 31, 2016. Two stents were placed in the RCA at the time. Since, he has had shortness of breath, Constant headaches and chest pains with pressure feelings. Doctors have done CT scans of chest, lungs and head. Many different x-rays, MRI, upper and lower endoscopies, many blood work tests. But everything comes up normal. He has not been able to work, most days it s a chore getting from the chair to the restroom without the breathing and head getting worse. Do you have any suggestions of what we can do?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms are consistent with common causes like migraine or tension headache, as a first line management you can try analgesics like aceclofenac or tramadol for pain relief.

If symptoms persist, better to consult a neurologist and plan for an MRI brain to rule out possible intra cranial (inside the brain) causes.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
