General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* The cause of fever is of paramount importance as respiratory tract infection, GI involvement or else.

Crocin will work as pyrexia suppressant only and not curative. She needs a systemic evaluation to find out the cause of underlying inflammation giving fever and accordingly prescription of antibiotics and supportive care will help to be cured at earliest. So pediatrician visit is mandatory.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
