Pulmonologist 's  Response
Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Upper respiratory tract problems (sinusitis) can cause post infectious bronchitis and lower respiratory tract infection (LRTI).
And both of these can cause persistent cough.
So better to consult pulmonologist and get done
1. Clinical examination of respiratory system
2. PFT (Pulmonary Function Test)
3. Chest x ray.
PFT is needed for the diagnosis of bronchitis.
Chest x ray is needed to rule out lung infection.
You may need antibiotics, antihistamines, inhaled bronchodilators and inhaled corticosteroid (ICS).
So better to first diagnose yourself and then start appropriate treatment.
Hope I have solved your query.
I will be happy to help you further.
Wish you good health. Thanks.
