What Causes Chronic Constipation After Falling On The Back?

I fell on my back while trying to pick up my wallet outside on my driveway. I didn t break any bones but am concerned because I haven t had a bowel movement for approx. 4 days- I have atrial fib and have a pacemaker and am on warfarin, metoprolol and amiodorin. Should I be concerned?

Hi,

Thanks for question on HCM

I do understand your solicitousness

As per your clinical history you have constipation since your injury so should be definitely concerned and do a physical examination by a neurologist to substantiate any injury to nerve present or not.

Hope that helps
