What Causes Chronic Abdominal Pain Along With Nausea And Vomiting?

I ve been having really bad stomach pains especially the last 2-3 weeks, combined with nausea and vomiting. It pretty much incapacitates me for up to 16 hours. I also keep getting sores on the roof of my mouth. I went 2 days without eating so my stomach would quit making me so sick. I usually have my diabetes under good control with my meds, but this is causing my blood sugar to be higher, whether or not I eat, or tke my meds. Any ideas as to what the possible cause? I am usually pretty healthy....

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi welcome to the health care magic

Usually on first impression such acute onset cases could be from acute gastritis or ulcerative disease....

For that pantoprazole or rabeprazole like strong antacid drug prescribed...

Avoid gastric irritants like....
-Excess tea
-Smoking
-stress
-Excess spicy foods etc....

Drink more water

If symptoms not improving than antibiotic might prescribed

Take care

If needed USG abdomen done to rule out organic cause

Consult physician for examination
