General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The symptoms are in keeping with an infectious process but it would be difficult to say whether there is a bacterial or fungal infection present.

Viral infections are more common so it may be viral but it would be best to see your doctor the next time that the symptoms occur so that any necessary investigations can be done.

Blood tests may be needed.

I hope this helps
