What Causes Chills Along With Fever And Mouth Ulcers?
For last 3 days I am having chilles and fever with sore on inside of lower lip. I take Advil and I m good for 5 hours then again it starts and I m taking Advil again. I also feel my teeth GUMS very sensitive and sore. I thot it will be ok in 2-3 days. It is not good to take Advil 3 times a day. What can be my problem. do I need antibiotics.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of chills along with fever and mouth ulcers which seems to be due to recurrent aphthous ulcers and it could be due to poor oral hygiene and viral infection. It could be due to poor and compromised immunity of body. Usually they resolve by themselves in few days. I would suggest you to avoid spicy food and acidic drink. Do warm saline rinses and use antiseptic mouthwash like chlorhexidine and brush your teeth twice a day. If the condition do not resolve in 4-5 days then consult dentist for proper examination and to rule out other conditions . Take antiviral medications. Drink plenty of water and fluids.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
