What Causes Chest Pressure And Breathlessness While Dealing With Depression?

Okay, so I don t like being left out of things at all because I was suicidal and it starts to make me feel so weird. My heart starts beating super fast and feels like there is tons of pressure on my chest. Then I start to not breathe and it feels like someone is choking me. I don t like being alone to much. I just want to know what s going on? This happens from time to time.

Hi,
Depression is an illness where one's own brain is the culprit. Our brain is amazing and harbors centers for everything like breathing, heart beating, emotions, seeing, hearing, touch etc. Hence when in depression, the brain tricks you into feeling all those things like suffocation, rapid heart beats etc. please note that it is not real and it will definitely pass. you need to consult a psychiatrist for taking antidepressants. If you are on the meds, and still feeling these, you need a change in medication and consult ane personally.
