What Causes Chest Pain Upon Deep Inhalation Post Seizure Episode?

Hi, I had a seizure 9 days ago. I fell flat on my face on my bed which stopped me from breathing. It lasted around 2-3 min I believe but by the time my partner found me, my lips had started to go blue from no oxygen. Within a few days after I starter to get chest pain in my ribs heading to the back of my ribs. It feels like I have pulled a muscle or cracked a rib as it only hearts with movement or taking deep breaths. Do you know what the problem could be and could it be serious (Heart/lungs)?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Cxr (chest X-ray) and CT is better also. Most common cause of pain in inspiration is fluid around layers of lungs but these above investigation results will tell exact cause plus ECG too.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sunny Madar, General & Family Physician
