What Causes Chest Pain And Tingling Sensation On The Face?

Hi For the past month I have been having chest pains that seem to come and go. Since Saturday they have gotten worse. I am now experiencing a “pins and needles” sensation in my face, hands, and feet. As well as nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, and slight arm and jaw pain. I am a 27 y/o female. I have been to the hospital twice and they have ruled it was anxiety after an ekg but the problem has been persistent and not gone away. At my last hospital visit they had prescribed me Xanax, which is now finished, and the pains did not even subside with those. Today I have experienced the worst pains yet and now shortness of breath. Any advice on what I should do or if this could be something more serious?

Hello,

Your chest pain is mostly because of inappropriate eating time (lifestyle) and also mental stress. But as you are having jaw pain, so it's better to see a cardiologist get a 2D-Echo and TMT done. Take capsule Pantocaf-LSR once in 24 hours, half an hour before food and tablet Ultracet twice daily for five days. Get this test done to rule out hypothyroidism. And for tingling numbness of face, monitor your blood pressure thrice daily for four to five days.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Abdullah
