What Causes Chest Pain And Swollen Lymph Node After An Accident?

I was in a not so serious motorcycle accident. Maybe just a cracked rib, some scrapes and bruises. No infections otherwise feel just fine. After the accident I took 3 pills of a friends Acetaminophin/Hydrocodone (325mg) and had a few beers. (I know I shouldn t have)! Everything has healed fine except for the pain in my chest which I think is slowly getting better. This was about 2 weeks ago. Since then one of my lymph nodes In my neck has been swollen and uncomfortable to swallow.. Is it connected to the accident or the pills and alcohol and will it eventually go back down? I have not had any illness at all this year and am otherwise healthy. Thanks for the help and insight!

Hi, don't worry about the pain, it will be fine after a week or two more, as it takes some time for chest injuries to heal due to the continuous movement of the chest.
As far as the swollen lymph node, it is most likely a coincidental occurrence with some infection in the throat and is most likely totally unrelated to the injury or the drugs.
Hope this answers your question, thank you.
