What Causes Chest Pain And Discomfort In The Arm After Using Cocaine?

Hi I did cocaine years ago and one time after doing it all weekend I had chest pain, I went to the doctor and he said I had swelling around my ribs caused from cocaine, I quit the cocaine and have not touched it since, and for 18 months every now and then I will get this electric shock, lightening bolt feeling through the left side of my chest and a discomfort in my arm, It happens maybe once a week and it's not painful, what is it please

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if this was the history of taking some narcotic then it may not cause any rib swelling as you have been explained but of course it may cause the pulmonary cell inflammation and this can only be detected by x-ray study it is better to get done the x-ray and other test to ruled out cardio pulmonary cause of pain hope this information helps.
I find this answer helpful
