What Causes Chest Discomfort While Taking BP Medication?

im havng a chest discomfort while walking, climbing stairs and while exerting pressure while excersise. did an ecg, ekg and tmt test wch showed no serious findings. been advised to do an angiogram. past two years im under treatment for high BP, age 34yrs! wat r the risks and long term recovery?

I can understand your situation and problem.
I also advice you to get done coronary Angiography.
Your symptoms are classical symptoms of angina.
You are also having high blood pressure, so possibility of angina is more in your case.
Sometimes all reports like ecg, 2d echo and TMT are normal but still patient can have obstruction in coronary artery which is causing symptoms. This can be picked up only by Angiography.
Angiography is not only diagnostic but it is therapeutic also. If blockage is there then we can do stenting also. So for long term recovery Angiography is good for you.
If you are not treating blockage then slowly over time it will damage your heart permanently (irreversible).
So better to get done Angiography.
