What Causes Chest Congestion Which Worsens At Night?

My daughter has been super congested for over a week. Her doctor said let it run it s course but it s getting worse and tonight she keeps doing this excessive blinking is warm but no high fever and seems pretty out of it. she needs aclinical examination and some investigation has to be done. can record her temperature, and if requered give her paracetamol syrup. tomorrow take her to physician got her examined.
