What Causes Change In Voice And Chest Congestion With No Cough?
Hi, ok I m not understanding my symptoms, I ve lost my voice its high pitched and raspy, my chest feels a little congested but nothing I m coughing but nothing coming up and I sound stuffed up but I can breath and I don t feel all that bad body feels sore
Hi, I understand your concern about your health. Considering your symptoms ,Change in quality of voice( hoarseness) is because of involvement of voice box (larynx). causes may range from mild infection (viral), overuse or irritant inhalation. With involvement of chest and body aches it seems most likely you might be suffering from transient infection (most likely viral). Cough is not an absolute must in all chest infections. However, I would advice you to consult your doctor (preferable ENT doctor), for examination of back of your throat( vocal cords) for voice changes. He may order some blood tests and a chest X-ray to look for any signs of infection.
I hope I have answered your question.
