What Causes Burns And Tingling When Using Tampons?

I m using a tampon for the first time. Pads give me rashes and etc. So I want to switch to tampons. I have tampax pearl and playtex sport. I am a wrestler so therefore I NEED to use tampons. However tried for the first time today and as i entered it , it tingles , burns and kinda hurts?

Firstly, when you use a tampon, the size must fit correctly. If you try to push a larger size tampon, you are bound to have pain and pressure effects along with burning. Secondly, the chemicals used in the material can cause irritation in which case, the brand has to be changed. If there is anymore discomfort, please see your consultant for further care.
