What Causes Burning Sensation, Swelling And Itching On The Lips?

Hello, For about a month now my lips swells, burns, tingles, and itch. I did see a PA at Walgreens she told me to take Zytec , Benadyl, and she gave me Methylprednisolone Tablets..My lips cleared up some but now they are back to square one..They are swollen, burning, itching and black...What do I need to do? Each time its clears up then starts over

It could be a form of severe allergic reaction.

As a first line management you can take antihistamines like pheniramine for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
