What Causes Burning Sensation On The Tongue And Swelling On Gums?

Hi I had quite a few mouth ulcers so to get rid of them I was using tcp 2 sometimes 3 times a day for around 5 days on the 5th day I noticed my tounge was starting to feel burnt/blistered and my bottom gums were saw and felt and looked very swollen, what should I do?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that burning sensation in mouth along with blisters and swollen gums can be due to Viral infection leading to Gingivostomatits..

I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated..
He can do an Oral swab culture and also blood tests to confirm the diagnosis..

In case of Viral infection antiviral medication like Acyclovir, Valacyclovir etc can help..
For Burning sensation Gargle with numbing mouthwash containing Lignocaine..
Do cool water rinses and cool compresses over gums..
Maintain a good Oral hygiene..
