What Causes Burning Sensation In Urethra, Cloudy Urine And Foul Smell In Vagina?

I ve been goi. To my obgyn multiple times with complaints of a burning sensation in my urethra but not when I pee. Most the times when I wake up & after I pee. Also my urine is cloudy and my vagina has an odd smell. I ve been tested for chlamidya and gonarhea. Both were negative. Should I find a new doctor and can you help diagnose so maybe I can tell my doctor what to do or test for!?!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The urine can be sent to the lab to check for any pathogen (virus, bacteria, fungi) that maybe causing the problem.
It can also be assessed for proteins and blood.

If no infection is identified then it is possible the burning may be due to neuropathy which is altered nerve sensation.
There are different possible causes for neuropathy such as vitamin b12 or folate deficiency, diabetes, trauma, medication, thyroid disease etc

I hope this helps
