What Causes Burning Sensation In The Throat While On Dexilant?
I have been on prilosec, nexium, pepcid, protroinix for at least 1 years. In the past 6 past 6 months, my doctor put me on dexiland & Yes it did help a lot! But now, my throat burns even when I haven t eaten anything spicy or drank anything similar. I had a colonoscopy about 6 months ago & all was fine. They were suppose to do an endoscopy at the same time...but didn t happen. Anyway, is there anything I can do myself to make this better until I can get the endoscopy done?

I really appreciate your concern, what the symptoms you have given here could be drug induced gastritis (Hyperacidity) and I would suggest to try Tab Omeprazole 40 mg with Domperidone 20 mg once in day, try avoid spicy, heavy meal, coffee, smoking, alcohol, prior to bed the treatment needs to continue for couple of week hope this information helps
