What Causes Burning Sensation In The Lower Legs After Taking Cortisone?
my 83 year old father had cortisone injections in his spine this morning...he thinks about 10 different sticks...tonite he is having severe burning sensation in his lower leg...what should we do... no fever..redness or swelling but the pain is horrible

Hi,
The burning pain following steroid shot in the spine is most of the times temporary. It would go within a couple of days. Till then Gabapentin capsules would help. Please take in the dosage as advised by his treating doctor.
