What Causes Burning Sensation In The Body After Hip Replacement Surgery?

I am taking levothyroxin for two years. I just had hip replacement Sept. 22 , 2016. Came home after for days. Now that I am at home for 6 days , I still feel head fog , hot and cold, and feeling my whole body is burning. Is it my thyroid or the after effect of anaesthessia?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

These hot and cold flashes are a feature of thyroid abnormality. Go for TSH and visit an endocrinologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
