What Causes Burning Sensation In Head With Headache, Hair Loss And Fatigue?

Hi. I have a spot on my head that s really hot all the time with headaches, sensitive scalp, hair loss, brain fog, fatigue etc... My family dr tested me for lupus, thyroid and hormones and everything was good. Do I go to a rhumatolgist or neurologist next? What could cause this?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi.

Has your doctor not ruled out a cyst (e.g. sebhorric), which can be diagnosed using image studies and accordingly excised if required. As all the conditions have been ruled out, I would recommend a neurologist and if possible a neuro surgeon to step in if it is just a spot we are talking about.

Best wishes.
