What Causes Burning Sensation And Pain In The Right Arm After Taking Cetanil?

I have been diagnosed with high bp (160/100) just now. Doctor prescribed cetanil 20mg. I took 1 pill. I got headache and uneasiness for 5 hrs. Then took pain killer. headache went off. Now right arm has burning sensation and little pain. Please advice whether this indicates heart problem or stroke possibility.

Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
Cetanil belongs to a group of anti-hypertensives called calcium channel blocker.Among its side effects, headache and muscle pain have been described.I feel your symptoms are side effects of this drug and may not pose any problem since your system will adapt soon.I will suggest you just continue with your pain drug and see the Doctor if symptom persist. It may not be a heart problem or stroke as you feel.Just rest well.
Hope this will help
Wish you good health
