What Causes Bruising Under The Toes?

My toes have a brusing color on the underneath pads and I get a build up of hardened skin that I can sometimes peal away. My toes on just one foot have been diagnosed as Raynaud s phnomina, but in all the articles I have read, no one mentions the color or pealing skin or duration of bouts can be up to four or five hours.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Most likely the cause of the condition that you have is fungal infection or allergy. Both the conditions can be managed altogether with anti-fungal and topical steroid (to be applied on affected part ).

As long as the skin disease is concerned, it has to be clinically examined for correct diagnosis.
Without clinical examination nothing can be said for sure.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Akhtarhusain,
