What Causes Bruise Inside Labia Majora?

Hello. Today, as I was shaving I noticed a small bruise like spot inside my labia majora a little near my clitoris. I have not been sexually active with my husband in a couple weeks and idk what it could be. Really concerned. Could this be vulvar cancer?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Bruise inside the labia majora is most commonly due to trauma or injury.
Sexual activity can lead to bruising, however, if there is no history of sexual activity other causes of trauma have to be sought.

In case no cause of trauma is found, you may wait for the bruise to clear.
If bruise of this kind appears in future without any trauma you may have to consult your doctor.
You also need to observe if bruise of similar nature are appearing in other parts of body or not.
If yes then this is probably due to disorder of platelets or coagulation system,
However, I suggest you to observe in first place.

Thanks and take care
