What Causes Brown Vaginal Spotting After Taking Micronor?

I have been taking Micronor for the last two months, and just realised you do not have a 7 day break (which I have been taking). I have started to have brown spotting on and off from last week, however, no cramps yo suggest it is my period. I have checked and I only had sex once recently, a few days after my period ,last month). The app I use says, chance of pregnancy low, as not in fertile window. Could you advise why I am having this light bleeding?

I have read your description and understand your concern.
Micronor contain is a progestin hormone contraceptive pill containing 'norethindrone'.
What brown spotting you are experiencing seems to be side effects caused due to pill itself. This is usually seen in some women in the first few months of its use. Gradually, such symptoms would subside over a period of time and hence there is no need to worry about it. Kindly take the pill as scheduled. In case you miss a pill, you need to use other modes of contraception like condoms and spermicides when you have intercourse until you get your periods.
